Incorporation of LaserQuipment AG by former employees of the Bayerisches Laserzentrum gGmbH.

February 2001

Sale of the first laser welding system for industrial serial production.

Mid 2001

Presentation of the first modular laser systems of the K series.

August 2001

Moved into Konrad-Zuse-Strasse in Erlangen.

March 2002

Presentation of the first systems of the new QS series with seperated welding heads.

September 2002

Foundation of the “Application Center” business area

April 2003

Moved into new business premises in Gundstrasse and extensioned the production floor space.

May 2003

Sale of the first welding systems to other European countries.

June 2003

Entered the US market at the NPE 2003 in Chicago.

March 2004

Entered the Chinese market at the CHINAPLAST 2004.

August 2004

LaserQuipment AG presented the newly developed hybrid welding technology for the first time.

November 2004

Adoption of a quality management system and certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

Juli 2005

LaserQuipment AG has merged – retroactively, with effect from ^1st of January 2005 – with our holding company LPKF Laser & Electronics AG.
