Goods inspection and quality assurance

The optical transmission of the upper plastic part determines the quality of the weld seam during the laser plastic welding process. As this material property can fluctuate due to production errors in the upstream processes (compounds, injection moulding), the monitoring of the optical transmission as part of a comprehensive quality assurance is recommended.
